Kick off with hands-on experiments and practical insights to decode the hair’s story and understand the science behind colour:
- Hair genetics, structure, texture, and porosity
- Natural tone variations and white hair challenges
- Product chemistry essentials: oxidants, artificial colours, bleach, high-lift options, and pH
- Experiments to see how ingredients interact with hair and make confident, customised colour decisions
Finish the day with a mindset and wellness session to fuel creativity for Day 2.

How Colour is Seen
Master the art and physics of colour:- Light reflection and how colour is perceived
- Primary, secondary, and tertiary colour – separating myth from fact
- Reading the colour globe for precise formulation
- Controlling light reflection and understanding how brands create their colours
