- Chaulk Mentor Tips & ResourcesAn introduction and welcome to the Chaulk Mentor Programme, we start with some tips and resources that will be useful to you throughout the duration of this programme.These lessons are here to improve your learning. I suggest that you make a folder on your desktop (try not to use your phone when taking this course and please save any download, once you have performed the task suggested or read the information.) These downloadables can then be saved to refer to at any time. You can always repeat a task as with anything in science the conclusion is formed after a few attempts.5

- Month Four: How Shampoo WorksIt’s the one of the most important products used in the salon. This module will help you learn how to formulate for each hair type.6
- Month Five: Law of ColourPrimary colours make all the other colours we see, firstly this module focuses on how colour is made, then how see colour and then on to using the colour wheel, take it slow – this is a biggun.8
- Month Six: Natural Hair ColourMelanin is the natural pigment in hair and skin. This module covers how it is made, how it is different for every individual and how it can effect the colour results and formulation.7
- Month Seven: Artificial ColourArtificial colour or the colour we use made by brands, this module share the chemistry in how these products work on the hair and how to make the right colour choice.7
- Month Eight: How Bleach WorksBleach is one of the main chemicals we use in the salon, let’s get these foundations grounded for the best formulation7
- Month Nine: Perming HairThis may not so popular at the moment but knowing the science will give clarity when forming texture within the hair.7
